Sarah Smith moved to San Francisco in 1999 and started her hair journey in 2003. She has been working with most of her clients for twenty years and counting.  Along the way she worked behind the chair at Edo Salon for 6 years as their Bumble and Bumble network educator. She trained extensively at B&B in New York, mastering straight razor cutting and honing her skills. Her other education includes one on one training with Nick Arrojo and Pony Education.

Sarah is a great communicator and prides herself on being able to interpret and understand the immediate desires of her clients as well as their future hair visions. She meets every appointment with intention and thoughtful consideration. She believes the look that walks out the door is just as important as what it will grow into. She loves organic effortless hair, creating fresh natural colors, taming and shaping curls in addition to precision bowls and bobs. She loves mens grooming as well and is known for her efficient timing. A true Virgo. She is now bringing her decades of experience in the hip salons of San Francisco to Marin.

When she’s not behind the chair, Sarah is working on house renovation projects and helps her husband run his independent record label. She’s very excited about exploring Marin beaches and trails with her dog Frankie. She loves embroidering, puzzling and making yummy food in the kitchen.
